TeleMedicine is a convenient way to consult with a provider, especially if you’re far from our clinic in Frisco, Texas. It is ideal for:

• Reviewing your medical and vaccination history
   
• Receiving lab and vaccination orders needed for your USCIS I-693 Immigration Medical Exam
   

If you live outside a 15-mile radius of our clinic or are limited by time or travel, a virtual TeleMed visit is a great starting point. In-person follow-up will still be required for final medical exam and I-693 signature.

• The final immigration medical exam must be done in person.
   
• The civil surgeon must examine the applicant in person and verify ID (e.g., passport or driver’s license).
   
• The I-693 form must be signed in person by both the applicant and the civil surgeon.  

Telemedicine can be used as a first step for the I-693 Immigration Medical Exam but cannot replace the required final step for in-person visit with a USCIS-designated civil surgeon.
 

1. Book Your TeleMed Appointment
   Schedule online through our Appointment Portal  link to Book Immigration examination or call (972)499-5551 Extension-2.
    
2. Receive Video Visit Link
   Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll get an email or SMS with a secure video link. Or you can use our link for start Telemedicine.
    
3. Make Payment
   Pay $399 per applicant via credit card or HSA. This covers:
    
   • Medical history review
      
   • Lab and vaccine orders
      
   • I-693 completion by a Civil Surgeon
     Use our  booking link or  Pay Bill Online link to submit payment. A receipt will be emailed or texted to you.
      

1. Join the Video Visit
   Our medical assistant, nurse practitioner, nurse , or physician will:
    
   • Review your vaccination records
      
   • Go over your medical history
      
   • Assess lab/vaccine needs per USCIS I-693 guidelines
     Be ready with:
      
   • Vaccination history with dates, provider, and manufacturer
      
   • A state-issued photo ID (passport or driver’s license)
      

1. Get Lab & Vaccine Orders
   After your visit, we’ll send:
    
   • Lab orders (can be done at CPL, LabCorp, Quest, etc.). You may prepay for labs if opt for that.
      
   • Vaccination orders (can be filled at local pharmacies)
      

1. Complete Labs & Vaccinations
    
   • Labs take 3–4 business days
      
   • Vaccines may be covered by insurance; if not, we’ll guide you to affordable options
      

1. Follow-Up In-Person Visit with Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad
   Once labs and vaccinations are done, schedule your final in-person exam. Bring:
    
   • Lab results
      
   • Vaccination proof
      
   • Government-issued photo ID
      

1. Receive Completed I-693 Packet
    
   • Signed & sealed envelope for USCIS submission
      
   • Optional: digital copy for your records
      

• You must complete new patient registration form  and provide:
   
  • Signed consent form
     
  • Insurance and payment information
     
  • Valid email for link delivery
     
• You may use iPhone, iPad, Android, laptop, or desktop (with camera/mic).
   
• The visit works best with doxy.me from our website
   
• Please test your device ahead of time and join 10 minutes early.
   

If your provider hasn’t joined within 10 minutes, call us at (972) 499-5551 Ext. 2.

• Sit in a well-lit area
   
• Have a flashlight if the doctor needs to examine an area
   
• Prepare:
   
• Temperature, weight, height, and pulse
   
• Questions or concerns
   
• Ensure privacy during your video call

• Your provider will:
   
  • Send lab and radiology orders if QuantiFERON TB test result is positive
     
  • Schedule your in-person follow-up at your convenience to pick up final sealed form I-693 during that visit.
     
  • Plan recommendation or treatment based on results (if needed)
     

Note: Labs and immigration medical exams are not covered by insurance. However, vaccinations may be. We will help verify coverage if you provide an insurance card.
